Toussaint

Toussaint Trousers are heavy trousers from Blood and Wine, in Magic and Relic variants. The Relic variant gives 89 armor and +450 vitality at level 40. Its +25% Bleeding resistance is the highest of any trousers. The Relic pair sits in the late game, at the current level when found.

The Relic variant also gives +15% piercing, +15% bludgeoning and +16% slashing resistance. Its +450 vitality ties the Toussaint Knight's Trousers, behind only the Toussaint Knight's Tourney Trousers among trousers.

The Magic variant gives 7 armor at level 1, plus 2 per level. It has +14% piercing and +16% slashing resistance and 1 random Magic effect.

How to Get Toussaint Trousers

  • Relic: during the main quest Beyond Hill and Dale..., enter the Land of a Thousand Fables. A will o' the wisp near Longlocks' tower leads to a corpse wearing the full Toussaint set and the sword Vitis.
  • Magic: buy them from any armorer in Toussaint.

Toussaint Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The relic Toussaint Trousers is on the body of a dead knight in the Land of a Thousand Fables, the fairy tale world of the Blood and Wine quest Beyond Hill and Dale.... A will-o'-the-wisp over a pond east of Longlocks' tower leads to the body. The pin marks the knight, who also wears the Toussaint Armor, gauntlets and boots and lies next to the sword Vitis.

  1. Follow the yellow brick road through the Land of a Thousand Fables to find Syanna. Kill the archespore at the first bridge.
  2. Defeat the Wicked Witch at her hut by the next bridge.
  3. Head through the dark ravine beyond, kill the pixies and ride the unicorn to Joss.
  4. Kill the wolves attacking Joss and ask him about the beans.
  5. From Joss, head toward Longlocks' tower and find the will-o'-the-wisp hovering over a pond east of the tower.
  6. Follow the wisp to the body of the knight.
  7. Loot the knight for the Toussaint Trousers.

Notes

  • The Relic variant can only be found during Beyond Hill and Dale..., so collect it before the quest ends.
  • In NG+ the Relic variant's level rises by the starting level.
