The Hand of Malenia is a Katana in Elden Ring. It only becomes available late in a run.

The Hand of Malenia is the blade built into Malenia's prosthetic arm, consecrated to resist rot, a symbol of her victories said to show wings of fierce, undefeated determination when raised. It is drawn from the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess at the Roundtable Hold after defeating Malenia, Blade of Miquella. It has a very long reach for a katana and a fast moveset with 50 blood loss buildup. Its unique skill, Waterfowl Dance, is a series of one-footed leaps into a swift slashing combo with up to two follow-ups, landing many hits in a short time. Needing 48 Dexterity and reaching about 640 attack power at 80 Dexterity, it suits a high Dexterity character.

How to Get Hand of Malenia Guide

It is traded for the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess with Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold. The remembrance drops from Malenia, Blade of Miquella at the Haligtree Roots.

Defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella at the Haligtree Roots in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree to obtain the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess.
Travel to the Roundtable Hold.
Talk to Finger Reader Enia and choose to exchange remembrances.
Select the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess and choose the Hand of Malenia.
To take the other reward as well, first duplicate the remembrance at a Wandering Mausoleum.

Skill

Waterfowl Dance costs 12 / 9 / 9 FP. The wielder hovers in the air for a split second, then dashes forward in a flurry of one-footed leaps and swift slashes wrapped in shearing wind. Repeated inputs add up to two more flurries, for three in all, and each flurry can be parried. The many hits work with multi-hit boosters such as the Winged Sword Insignia. It is exclusive to this weapon.
