The Meteoric Ore Blade is a Katana in Elden Ring. It is a mid-game find in Caelid.

The Meteoric Ore Blade is a katana forged from meteoric ore to slay lifeforms born of falling stars, so weighty that its slashes are said to land like a crashing meteor. It lies in a chest in the underground chambers at the northwest of the Caelid Waypoint Ruins, past rooms of sarcophagi and Lesser Kindred of Rot. Its heavy attacks are a distinct straight downward slash, akin to a kendo strike, and a charged one staggers most enemies in a single hit. It deals physical and magic damage with 50 blood loss buildup, does 20 percent more damage to gravity enemies, and its skill, Gravitas, plunges the blade into the ground to pull enemies into a gravity well. It suits a Strength character, or a Strength and Intelligence hybrid, since its Strength scaling slightly outweighs its Intelligence scaling.

Why Players Pick It

The Meteoric Ore Blade is the katana that staggers, with the highest poise damage in its class and a 112 physical and 72 magic split at +0 with D Intelligence. Gravitas pulls enemies in, and its 450 combined attack rating when fully upgraded ties for the highest total among the curved blade classes. At 7.5 it is the heaviest katana.

Skill

Gravitas costs 13 FP. The wielder stabs the weapon into the ground, then stabs again to open a gravity well that pulls surrounding enemies inward. The implosion deals magic damage in three overlapping waves, so enemies closest to the center take the most damage. Its pull drags flying enemies down to the ground, which makes it handy against birds and other airborne foes.

"Skill originating from the Alabaster Lords, who had skin of stone. Thrust the armament into the ground to create a gravity well. In addition to dealing damage, this attack pulls enemies in."

Build

Gravitas pulls groups of enemies together, followed at once by a charged overhead heavy slash for the most damage.
