Sewing Needle is a quest item in Elden Ring. It is an early find in Limgrave.
The Sewing Needle is a large curved needle that belongs to Boc the Seamster. It drops from the Demi-Human Chiefs in Coastal Cave. Returning it to Boc the Seamster starts his questline. With the Tailoring Tools, it also allows armor alteration.
Use
Giving the needle to Boc the Seamster at the mouth of Coastal Cave starts his quest. He later reappears at the Lake-Facing Cliffs in Liurnia of the Lakes. There he offers to alter garments for free.

How to Get Sewing Needle Guide
- Travel to Coastal Cave in western Limgrave.
- Defeat the Demi-Human Chiefs at the end of the cave.
- Take the Sewing Needle and the Tailoring Tools from the drop.
- Return to the cave entrance and give the needle to Boc the Seamster.
