Tailoring Tools is a tool in Elden Ring. It can be picked up early, in Limgrave, within the first few hours of a run.
The Tailoring Tools are a portable sewing kit. They turn on armor alteration at Sites of Grace. Altered armor gets a new look and is marked as altered. The kit drops from the Demi-Human Chiefs in Coastal Cave.
Use
With the tools, chest armor and some headgear can be altered at a Site of Grace for a rune fee. Demigod armor also needs the Gold Sewing Needle.

How to Get Tailoring Tools Guide
- Travel to Coastal Cave in western Limgrave.
- Fight through the cave to the boss room.
- Defeat the Demi-Human Chiefs to receive the Tailoring Tools and the Sewing Needle.
- Choose Alter Garments at any Site of Grace.
