Spectral Steed Whistle is a tool in Elden Ring. Players can grab it early, in Limgrave.

The Spectral Steed Whistle summons Torrent, the spectral steed. It opens up fast travel across the open world, double jumps and mounted combat. Using it again while riding makes the rider dismount. It is one of the most important items of the whole journey.

Effect

Sounding the whistle calls Torrent at once if he is alive. If Torrent has fallen, the whistle asks to spend one Flask of Crimson Tears charge to bring him back. Rowa Raisin, Sweet Raisin and Frozen Raisin heal Torrent while riding.

"A delicate goldwork ring. Can be used as a finger whistle. Sound the whistle to summon and ride Torrent, the spectral steed. (Dismounts steed when used while on horseback.) Upon his death, the spectral steed can be summoned again, but doing so drains the Flask of Crimson Tears."
