Bloodgold Missile is ballista ammo. It deals 200 pierce a shot, against the Flametal Missile's 140, and is crafted at an Artisan Table from Timberwood and Bloodgold.
How to Craft
Crafted at a level 1 Artisan Table from:
- 10x Timberwood: chopped from firs and pines in the Deep North.
- 1x Bloodgold: smelted from Petrified Tissue in a Blast Furnace.

When to Use It
End game. You can only progress through the Deep North once Fader is dead.
Properties
A ballista holds forty missiles of one kind and fires them one at a time at anything in a 90-degree arc up to 28 metres in front of it. That includes players and tames, unless a trophy has been set to pick its target. All of its damage comes from the loaded missile, so switching from Flametal to Bloodgold missiles raises every shot from 140 pierce to 200.
Twenty missiles are made at an Artisan Table from ten Timberwood and one Bloodgold, so filling a ballista with forty takes twenty Timberwood and two Bloodgold.
The ballista aims slowly and inaccurately but fires quickly, so it works best against enemies held in place by a trap.
At quality 1 it deals 200 pierce, 200 in total.
Against the creatures of the Deep North, pierce deals full damage to Elakings, the Eyeless One, Deep North Greydwarves and their Shamans, Hexen, captive Fulings, imprisoned Dvergr and Moose. It deals reduced damage to Barka, Fallen Warriors, Gammeltrolls, Skeletons, Krigen, Shapeless and Tiny Pulps and Kall Fimbulbringer.
A batch of 20 costs 10 Timberwood and 1 Bloodgold.
