The Horn of Celebration is a tool in Valheim, crafted from Swamp materials. It is made at Workbench, from 2 Bronze, 2 Troll hide, 2 Iron. The game describes it simply: One year since we arrived... Skål!.

When to Use It

Early game. Iron comes out of Sunken Crypts in the Swamp, so this arrives once The Elder is down.

Build

There is no tool build, but there is a tool checklist, and being without one of these is how an evening gets wasted. Antler Pickaxe the moment Eikthyr is down, because it is the gate on copper and tin. Upgrade the pickaxe at every tier: the harder deposits need it, and the Pickaxes skill comes up on its own while you mine. Keep the hammer, hoe and cultivator in a chest at the base rather than on your back, and keep a spare axe: chopping is what breaks tools fastest.

Skill: Pickaxes and Axes, which levels by use and loses a slice on death.
Backstab 4x. Worth opening with from stealth.
Knockback 30. What it does to an enemy's footing when it lands.

Notes

Pickaxes are the only way to mine ore deposits and to dig terrain.
The Antler Pickaxe is unlocked by defeating Eikthyr and is the gate on copper and tin.
Tools extend what the player can do to the world rather than to creatures.

Crafted at Workbench, station level 1.
Costs 2 Bronze, 2 Troll hide, 2 Iron at quality 1.
Materials can be found in the Swamp biome.
