Castle Cross Message is a letter in Elden Ring. It comes from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
The Castle Cross Message is a note left by Needle Knight Leda at Castle Ensis. It is written for others who follow Miquella's trail. It explains how the sealed tower can be reached. It names the next goal: a flame to burn the tree that seals the path.
Use
Leda writes that Miquella seeks the tower sealed by shadow and the Gate of Divinity inside it. To follow him, the tree that seals the path must be burned. She adds that a special flame is needed for that.
Solution
The message points to the Sealing Tree in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. The flame it asks for is Messmer's Kindling, dropped by Messmer the Impaler in the Shadow Keep.
How to Get Castle Cross Message Guide
At the Miquella's Cross beside the Castle Ensis Site of Grace, to the left of the gate.
