The Great Omenkiller Cleaver is a Greataxe in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Altus Plateau, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 23 and Dex 12 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling. It also causes blood loss buildup (55) on its own, with no infusion needed.

Notes

The blade of this huge, loathsome cleaver comprises a row of amputated Omen horns. Weapon of slaughter wielded by Omenkillers. The hideous horns cause blood loss, adding vibrant colors to the ongoing mayhem.

How to Get Great Omenkiller Cleaver Guide

Received upon defeating the Omenkiller & Miranda the Blighted Bloom duo boss inside the Perfumer's Grotto located in Altus Plateau.
Dropped from the Omenkiller in Volcano Manor. He stands near a crematory pyre in the middle of the collection of buildings to the right after exiting the Prison Town Church.
