Sacramental Bud is a crafting material in Elden Ring.
Sacramental Bud is an unripe bud that holds fresh blood. It is believed to come from buds once grown with young, sacramental blood. It is very rare and grows in Caelid, the Altus Plateau and Mt. Gelmir. It is crafted into Preserving Boluses and the Bewitching Branch.
Gathering
Each bud can be picked only once per playthrough. The largest groups grow around the Church of the Plague and the Writheblood Ruins. Rotten strays and a few land octopuses drop it rarely.
How to Get Sacramental Bud Guide
It is commonly found in Caelid, Altus Plateau and Mt. Gelmir.
- Fifteen grow around the Church of the Plague, seven inside and eight in the graveyard.
- Eleven grow around the Writheblood Ruins.
- Ten grow near St. Trina's Hideaway, where the Amber Starlight lies.
- Six grow around Hermit Village.
- Four grow east of the Corpse-Stench Shack on small mounds of corpses.
- One grows north of the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance Site of Grace in Mohgwyn Palace.
- Rotten Stray in the Writheblood Ruins drops it.
- Land Octopus near St. Trina's Hideaway drops it.
The Rotten Strays in the Writheblood Ruins on the Altus Plateau can drop it again after each rest.
