The Ringed Finger is a Hammer in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Mt. Gelmir, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

121 base physical at only 4.5 weight, reaching 296 max standard with B Str on, excellent damage-per-weight. Undercut by a Sta of just 94, second-worst in the class. Chest at the bottom of the first lava ramp in Gelmir Hero's Grave.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Claw Flick costs 14 FP. Cause the finger to swell, then flex to build up strength before giving enemies an almighty flick. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 15 and Dex 9 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

Bludgeon made of an enormous finger sheathed in several heavy rings. Thought to have been cut from an ancestor of the Fingercreeper. Some life yet remains in this legacy of an ancient act of blasphemy, as evidenced by the barely perceptible warmth it still exudes.

Location: Gelmir Hero's Grave.
The Ringed Finger is found in a chest inside the Gelmir Hero's Grave, located on Mt. Gelmir. The chest is at the very bottom of the first lava-filled ramp in the grave, in an alcove to the left.
