The Revulsor is a last-second lifeline. When V's Health drops below a quarter, it slows time around V on its own. V keeps moving at full speed while enemies crawl. That window gives V time to heal, find cover or finish the fight. It is the Iconic variant of the Reflex Tuner and suits any build that often fights close to death. The Revulsor is a mid to late game Phantom Liberty implant, sold by the ripperdocs in Dogtown from level 20 and found in Dogtown airdrops.
Effect
The Revulsor triggers on its own. The moment V's Health falls below a quarter, time slows down around V. At Tier 3 the world slows by forty percent. At Tier 5 and above it slows by sixty percent. The slowdown lasts a few seconds, from three seconds at Tier 3 to four and a half at the highest tiers.
V's own movement is not slowed. V moves at normal speed while enemies move at a fraction of theirs. That makes the window useful for using a Health item, reaching cover or killing the closest threat.
A cooldown follows each trigger. It starts at fifty seconds at Tier 3 and drops to thirty-five at Tier 5++. The implant is attuned to Cool. Each Cool point cuts a quarter of a second from the cooldown. A character with full Cool cuts five seconds from it.
How to Get Revulsor Guide

- Return at levels 30 and 40 for higher tiers.

- Upgrade it at a ripperdoc with crafting components.

Upgrades
The Revulsor comes in Tiers 3 to 5, with plus steps in between. Each step raises the time slow, lengthens the window or shortens the cooldown. The capacity cost stays the same at every tier, and it is much heavier than the cost of the Reflex Tuner. Cyberware Capacity Shards and the Edgerunner perk help make room for it. Ripperdocs in Dogtown stock Tier 3 from level 20, Tier 4 from level 30 and Tier 5 from level 40. A ripperdoc can upgrade it with crafting components up to Tier 5++.
The table shows what each tier step of Revulsor costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 3 to Tier 3+ | 40 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3+ to Tier 4 | 30 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 40 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 30 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5 to Tier 5+ | 40 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5+ to Tier 5++ | 100 Tier 5 components | Phantom Liberty |
Character Builds
The Revulsor suits builds that spend time at low Health. Overclock pays for quickhacks with Health and also pushes V toward the trigger. Body builds with Painkiller and Comeback Kid regenerate Health in combat, and the slowdown gives that regeneration time to work.
For other cyberware, the Biomonitor uses a Health item on its own when Health drops low. The Blood Pump gives a strong heal that V can use during the slowdown.

Lore
The Revulsor shares its in-game line with the Reflex Tuner. The text calls it a coprocessor that supports decision-making in emergency situations. Both implants buy V a few precious seconds when things go badly. The Revulsor improves on the idea, because V moves at full speed during the slowdown. It is one of the Iconic implants that arrived with Phantom Liberty and are sold only inside Dogtown.
Notes
- The Reflex Tuner is the base implant. It costs far less capacity.
