The Letter to Patches is a hunting request from Volcano Manor addressed to Patches. It names Great Horned Tragoth as the target. Patches hands it over once the first Volcano Manor hunt is done. Completing it earns armor and a fire whip.
Use
The letter names Great Horned Tragoth as a Tarnished to be hunted. It says he is at the Ruin-Strewn Precipice and marks the spot in red on the map. His invasion sign waits inside Magma Wyrm Makar's arena.

How to Get Letter to Patches Guide
- Finish the hunt for Old Knight Istvan for Tanith.
- Speak with Patches at Volcano Manor to receive the letter.
- Use the invasion sign in Magma Wyrm Makar's arena at the Ruin-Strewn Precipice and defeat Great Horned Tragoth.
- Return to Patches twice afterwards.
