The Manor Towershield is a Greatshield in Elden Ring. It is found early on, in Stormveil Castle.

The Manor Towershield is an iron greatshield large enough to cover the entire body, depicting the Roundtable Hold, gathering place of champions. It rests on some hay beneath the stairs of a storeroom full of Commoners in Stormveil Castle, reached from the Secluded Cell Site of Grace by the ledge above the Living Jars. Like other greatshields it boasts high damage negation and guard capacity, and attacks often bounce off it. It weighs 16, needs 30 Strength, scales with Strength at D and accepts Ashes of War. Found early, it suits a Strength block-counter build.

How to Get Manor Towershield Guide

Found in Stormveil Castle, from the Secluded Cell Site of Grace, head back towards the Living Jars, then follow the wall to the right upon reaching the next level up the ramp. the Tarnished must jump to the windows from the ledge and enter the door to the right afterward.
Following this path will lead to a storeroom full of Commoners with the Manor Shield being under the stairs.

Skill

Shield Bash costs no FP. The wielder braces behind the shield and rams forward with full body weight while keeping guard up. Weaker enemies are shoved back and can be staggered, and because the guard holds through the motion, the bash can be thrown out against incoming attacks. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

"Brace behind shield before using bodyweight to ram foes while maintaining guarding stance. Weaker enemies will be shoved backwards, and can even be staggered."

Guarding

With a guard boost of 67, a blocked hit that would cost 100 stamina only costs 33. It blocks all physical damage, and against the elements it holds up best to magic, at 66%, and worst to lightning, at 51%. Running out of stamina mid-block breaks the guard and opens the wielder to a critical hit.

Build

Paired with a Strength hammer: buff with Cragblade before a boss, land charged heavy attacks, and use block counters to break stance and follow with critical hits.
