The Eclipse Crest Greatshield is a metal greatshield painted with a sun in eclipse, carried by the headless mausoleum knights, for the eclipsed sun is the protective star of soulless demigods and keeps Destined Death at bay. It is a rare drop from the Mausoleum Knights, most easily farmed from the one guarding the entrance to the Black Knife Catacombs in Liurnia of the Lakes. While held it raises immunity, robustness and focus by 50, though the new resistances have to build up after it is swapped in. It weighs 15, needs 32 Strength, scales with Strength at D and accepts Ashes of War. It suits a block-counter build that also wants status resistance.
