Garlic
Garlic comes from braids hung to dry inside homes and other buildings. All four of its effects are helpful, so it suits potions well. Regenerate Health and Fortify Stamina are its most useful effects for brewing.

Location
Nearly every kitchen has a garlic braid or two. Boulderfall Cave and House Gray-Mane in Whiterun hold large stores. Alchemists sell it too.
