Nordic Barnacle is harvested from barnacle clusters found almost entirely underwater. Waterbreathing and Regenerate Health are its most useful effects for brewing.

Effects

Nordic Barnacle has four effects. Each one is listed with the potion or poison it makes. That page lists every other ingredient with the same effect.

Effect	Makes	Type
Damage Magicka	Magicka Poison	Poison
Waterbreathing	Potion of Waterbreathing	Potion
Regenerate Health	Potion of Regeneration	Potion
Fortify Pickpocket	Potion of Pickpocketing	Potion

Location

The sunken ship near the Lady Stone in Lake Ilinalta has many clusters. The wrecks at Hela's Folly and Orphan's Tear hold many more. Eight sit in the pool outside Dragonsreach in Whiterun.

Gameplay Tips

Mix it with Orange Dartwing for a Fortify Pickpocket potion, as the Herbalist's Guide to Skyrim suggests.
