The RC-7 Aswang is a muzzle brake for Power assault rifles and submachine guns. It tames the recoil of automatic fire in two ways at once. The price is a small cut to Crit Chance. It suits a character who holds the trigger down and wants the sights to stay on target. The RC-7 Aswang is a late game muzzle brake, since it only comes at Tier 4.
Effect
A muzzle brake sits in a weapon's muzzle slot. Muzzle brakes add stats that help Power weapons. Recoil is the kick that pushes the sights off target after each shot.
The RC-7 Aswang lowers recoil angle by 10%. It also lowers recoil direction by 35%. Both bonuses help a long burst stay on one spot. The brake also lowers Crit Chance by 3%.
The RC-7 Aswang is worth the slot on a Power assault rifle or submachine gun that fires long bursts. A gun that fires single aimed shots gains less from the recoil bonus.

Upgrades
The RC-7 Aswang comes only at Tier 4. A muzzle brake can only go on a weapon of the same tier or a higher one. Muzzle attachments can be taken off a gun and moved to another one at any time.
Character Builds
The RC-7 Aswang suits a Reflexes build with automatic Power weapons. Mind Over Matter lowers recoil while aiming. Ready, Rested, Reloaded lowers the Stamina cost of shooting assault rifles and submachine guns. Shoot To Chill adds Armor Penetration for automatic weapons for each stack of Sharpshooter.
Crit Chance from perks and cyberware makes up for the brake's small penalty.
Lore
The in-game description says the RC-7 Aswang will not guarantee a shot on target, but it will certainly help. Every brake in the RC-7 line carries the same line of text.
