Power Weapons
Power weapons are the most common of the three weapon types in Night City. They fire ordinary bullets, slugs and buckshot, and the game describes their ammo simply: it inflicts massive damage. Their special trick is the ricochet. A Power bullet can bounce off walls and hard surfaces and still hit a target around a corner or behind cover.
Ricochets
With Ballistic Coprocessor cyberware installed in V's hands, V can control the path of those ricochets. The coprocessor shows where a shot will bounce, so V can aim off a wall at an enemy who is hiding. Without it, ricochets still happen, but V cannot plan them.
Mods and Builds
Power weapons take Power weapon mods, a mod type of their own. They suit almost any build, because they need no implant to work at full strength.
