The RC-7 Zaar is a muzzle brake for Power assault rifles and submachine guns that narrows the gun's recoil angle. Less recoil helps a long burst stay on target. The price is a small cut to Crit Chance. It comes from Tier 1, so it can go on an automatic gun early in the game. The RC-7 Zaar is available from the early game, since weapon vendors sell it from Tier 1.
Effect
A muzzle brake sits in a weapon's muzzle slot. Muzzle brakes add stats that help Power weapons. Recoil is the kick that pushes the sights off target after each shot.
The RC-7 Zaar lowers recoil angle. The bonus is 7.5% at Tier 1 and grows to 15% at Tier 4. Every tier also lowers Crit Chance by 3%.
The RC-7 Zaar is worth the slot on a Power assault rifle or submachine gun that fires long bursts.

Upgrades
The RC-7 Zaar comes in Tiers 1 to 4. Each tier lowers recoil angle a little more. A muzzle brake can only go on a weapon of the same tier or a higher one. Muzzle attachments can be taken off a gun and moved to another one at any time.
Character Builds
The RC-7 Zaar suits a Reflexes build with automatic Power weapons. Mind Over Matter lowers recoil while aiming. Ready, Rested, Reloaded lowers the Stamina cost of shooting assault rifles and submachine guns. Shoot To Chill adds Armor Penetration for automatic weapons for each stack of Sharpshooter.
Lore
The in-game description says the RC-7 Zaar will not guarantee a shot on target, but it will certainly help. Every brake in the RC-7 line carries the same line of text.
