The Cipher Pata is a Fist in Elden Ring.

The Cipher Pata is one of the weapons that originated with the Two Fingers, its blade a formless sequence of ciphers in their language of light, so no shield can repel it. It lies on a burnt corpse in the side rooms below the balcony of the Roundtable Hold. It is a paired fist with quick, short-ranged attacks that deal pure holy damage and weighs nothing at all. Its unique skill, Unblockable Blade, imbues the blade with light and lunges forward in a piercing attack that cannot be blocked. It suits a Faith character as an FP-free melee option.

Stats

The Cipher Pata weighs nothing at all and deals pure holy damage, 85 at base with C Faith scaling that climbs to A when upgraded. That makes it a natural way for Faith builds to fight without spending FP, and it benefits greatly from the Sacred Scorpion Charm. It upgrades with Somber stones and cannot be infused or buffed.

How to Get Cipher Pata Guide

Skill

Unblockable Blade costs 17 FP. The wielder fills the cipher blade with light, extending its reach, then strikes with a sudden wide sweep that completely ignores an enemy's guard. The attack deals holy damage and cannot be parried. The skill is unique to this weapon and cannot be swapped out.

"Imbue the cipher blade with light, extending its length, then strike with a sudden sweeping attack. This attack cannot be blocked."

Suggested Build

Use its quick holy jabs as an FP-free melee option between incantations, and Unblockable Blade against shielded or guarding foes.

Stats Faith 70 (30 to wield it), Vigor 50, Mind 30, Endurance 30
Affinity Cannot be infused; it keeps its own scaling.
Talismans Sacred Scorpion Charm, Two Fingers Heirloom

Notes

"One of the weapons originating from the Two Fingers. A formless sequence of ciphers comprise its blade, and as such no shield can repel it. Deals holy damage. The furtive inscription appears to hang in the air; the language of light spoken by the Two Fingers."
