The Grafted Dragon is a Fist in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Early game. It is found around Limgrave, in the opening stretch of a run, so it is one of the first real upgrades you can carry.

Why Players Pick It

Deals +10% damage to Dragon-type and +5% to Ancient Dragon-type enemies, and its skill takes priority from the off-hand. But it is the one Fist that cannot be two-handed, and it cannot be infused or buffed. Costs a Remembrance of the Grafted.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Bear Witness! costs 20 FP. Grant the small dragon a fleeting glimpse of life and thrust it skyward, spewing flames over a wide frontward area. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at D and Fai at D, so Str, Dex and Fai are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 20, Dex 14 and Fai 16 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

The embodiment of the power that still remained in the dragon's head that was grafted to Godrick's left arm. The wielder's arm will take the form of a small dragon, sprouting sharp dragon fangs at the fist. This weapon cannot be two-handed.

How to Get Grafted Dragon Guide

Grafted Dragon is one of the two options that can be obtained by turning in Remembrance of the Grafted with 2,000 Runes to Finger Reader Enia.
The Remembrance can be duplicated by using the Remembrance of the Grafted at Wandering Mausoleums to acquire both the Grafted Dragon and the Axe of Godrick.
