The Thiollier's Hidden Needle is a Fist in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Shadow of the Erdtree. It is found around Enir-Ilim in the expansion, which opens only once Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood are beaten.

Why Players Pick It

0.5 weight, 42 Eternal Sleep buildup, B Dexterity / C Intelligence at max standard. Its skill is prioritised when held in the off-hand, the way Parry is, so it works as a sleep-application tool bolted onto any other build. Somber, not infusible. DLC, and gated behind completing Thiollier's questline.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Sleep Evermore costs 16 FP. Pierces the enemy deeply with a poison-coated needle that delivers eternal sleep. If the follow-up strike lands upong a foe who is already in a state of slumber or eternal sleep, it will deal significant damage. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at E, Dex at C and Int at D, so Dex is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 10, Dex 22 and Int 15 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round. It also inflicts Eternal Sleep buildup (42) on its own, with no infusion needed.

Notes

Concealed weapon used by Thiollier, of a design generally favored by poison-wielders for dark and subtle purposes. Like St. Trina, who blossomed in the deep-purple garden, a rich poison is secreted from within which sends its victims into an eternal sleep.

How to Get Thiollier's Hidden Needle Guide

Acquired from Thiollier after defeating Promised Consort Radahn at the top of Enir-Ilim, but only if you have completed his quest line before reaching Needle Knight Leda in the Cleansing Chamber.
