Miquella's Needle is a quest item in Elden Ring. It is one of the late rewards, found in Crumbling Farum Azula.
Miquella's Needle is one of the unalloyed gold needles made by Miquella to ward off outer gods. It can subdue the flame of frenzy once it has been taken in. The needle is unfinished and works only in the storm beyond time at Crumbling Farum Azula. It is the only way back from the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending.
Use
Using the needle in the arena of Dragonlord Placidusax removes the Flame of Frenzy taken from the Three Fingers. This opens the other endings again. Only being in the arena is needed; the dragon does not have to be fought.
How to Get Miquella's Needle Guide
- Finish Millicent's quest by helping her against her sisters at Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.
- Pick up the Unalloyed Gold Needle she leaves behind.
- Defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella at Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.
- Rest and reload, then touch the Scarlet Aeonia flower in her arena to receive the needle.
- Use it in the arena of Dragonlord Placidusax at Crumbling Farum Azula.
