Foxhound is a BARGHEST Tech sniper rifle built on the Tsunami Nekomata. Like the other BARGHEST airdrop Iconics, it makes V faster with each kill or dismemberment, and the extra speed adds damage. On a sniper rifle, this rewards a hunter who takes a shot, moves quickly to a new spot and fires again. As a BARGHEST weapon, it also has extra armor penetration. Foxhound is a Phantom Liberty rifle from the Dogtown airdrops, one of the BARGHEST family of Iconics.
Combat
Foxhound keeps the Nekomata's Tech charge. A quick shot fires normally. A full charge adds damage and lets the round go through walls and cover. Each kill or dismemberment adds movement speed for a few seconds, and higher speed raises the rifle's damage.
For a sniper, moving between shots is worth it. After a kill, V can dash to a new position and fire the next charged shot while the speed bonus is still active. The BARGHEST armor penetration helps against armoured targets.

Character Builds
Foxhound works best in a build that mixes Technical Ability and Cool. Bolt makes a shot count as fully charged if the trigger is released just before full charge. It also adds damage to charged shots. Shock Value makes Bolts ignore armor. In Charge holds the charge until V releases it. From the Cool tree, Focus and Deadeye add headshot damage for sniper rifles. Long Shot keeps full damage at any distance during Deadeye.
Kiroshi Stalker Optics link to an equipped Tech weapon and highlight enemies behind cover while aiming. They work well with a shot that goes through walls. The Leeroy Ligament System raises movement speed, which also raises the damage bonus.
Lore
Foxhound is the Iconic variant of the Tsunami Nekomata in BARGHEST colours. BARGHEST is Kurt Hansen's militia in Dogtown. Its family of Iconic weapons turns up in the airdrops that land across the district. Pit Bull, Amstaff, Chinook, Catahoula and Chesapeake have the same speed bonus.
