The Kiroshi Stalker Optics link to V's Tech weapon and show enemies hiding behind cover while V aims. Tech weapons can fire charged shots through walls and cover. The Stalker shows V exactly where to aim those shots. It suits a Technical Ability build that fights with Tech guns. It also adds armor for each point of Technical Ability. The Kiroshi Stalker Optics are an early game implant that ripperdocs sell from the start.
Effect
The Stalker connects to the equipped Tech weapon on its own. When V aims, the optics highlight enemies behind cover. The highlight covers a cone in the middle of V's field of view. It reaches a set distance into the scene. Both the width of the cone and its depth grow with each tier.
The highlight appears as soon as V aims. V can aim at a wall, see the enemies behind it, and fire a charged shot through it.
The optics also give optical zoom when scanning or aiming. The zoom level rises with each tier, from four times at Tier 1 up to ten times at Tier 5.
The Stalker is attuned to Technical Ability. Each point of Technical Ability adds half a point of armor.

Upgrades
Ripperdocs sell the Stalker at Tier 1 at the start, Tier 2 from level 10, Tier 3 from level 20, Tier 4 from level 30 and Tier 5 from level 40. An installed copy can be raised a tier at a ripperdoc with the matching item components. Each tier widens the cone, deepens the highlight and raises the zoom. Each copy also carries small stat bonuses. The Driver Update perk adds one more. The Chipware Connoisseur perk offers a choice of bonuses when V upgrades the implant. V gains Cyberware Capacity with each level and from Cyberware Capacity Shards. The Edgerunner perk lets V go over the limit at the cost of some max Health.
The table shows what each tier step of Kiroshi Stalker Optics costs at a ripperdoc.

Character Builds
The Stalker belongs in a Technical Ability build with Tech weapons. Bolt raises charge speed and charged shot damage. Its last level unlocks Bolts, which count as fully charged shots and lose less damage when they pass through cover. Internal Clock widens the timing window for a Bolt. Shock Value lets Bolts ignore enemy armor. Chain Lightning makes Bolts arc to nearby enemies.
Other Tech implants pair well with it. The Feedback Circuit restores Health when a fully charged Tech shot hits. Electromag Recycler restores Health and Stamina on the same kind of hit. Cellular Adapter adds Tech weapon damage for each point of Technical Ability.
The Face slot holds one implant at first. A second Face slot unlocks during the main job Birds with Broken Wings. With both slots open, the Stalker can sit beside one other Kiroshi implant, such as the Clairvoyant or the Sentry.
Select a Build
Modelled on David from the anime, the build packs in as much cyberware as it can carry. The Sandevistan slows time while pistols and Gorilla Arms tear through enemies. Technical Ability perks cut cyberware cooldowns so the Sandevistan comes back fast.
