Bloody Finger is a multiplayer item in Elden Ring. It is found in Liurnia of the Lakes, around the middle of a run.

The Bloody Finger lets its owner invade other players' worlds as many times as wanted. It is the reusable form of the Festering Bloody Finger. It is the reward for finishing White Mask Varré's quest. Players who enjoy PvP invasions get the most out of it.

Effect

The Bloody Finger tries to invade another player's world. A successful invasion places the user there as a Bloody Finger, with the goal of defeating the Host of Fingers. The invader also gets three Phantom Bloody Fingers to respawn elsewhere in that session. It is never used up.

"Item for online play. (Can also be used from the Multiplayer menu.) Attempts an invasion of another player's world. If successful, your objective will be to defeat the Host of Fingers of the world to which you were summoned. The nail of this finger is shot through with streaks of fresh, glistening blood. The finger's sickly pale skin feels nothing now, but the nail still aches with sweetest pain."

How to Get Bloody Finger Guide

Speak with White Mask Varré at the Rose Church to receive Festering Bloody Fingers.
Complete the invasions he asks for, either online or by invading Magnus the Beast Claw at the Writheblood Ruins.
Return to Varré to receive the Lord of Blood's Favor.
Soak the favor in a maiden's blood at the corpse in the Church of Inhibition or the Chapel of Anticipation, or by killing Hyetta.
Give the soaked favor to Varré to receive the Bloody Finger.
