The Marred Leather Shield is a leather shield of the Stormveil soldiers, marred like the castle itself by mottling and thorns, which some blame on the curse of grafting and others on something more sinister hidden deep in the castle. It lies on a corpse halfway up the wooden stairs past the Stormveil Cliffside Site of Grace, along the side route Gatekeeper Gostoc recommends. Its thorns cause 50 blood loss buildup when attacking with it. It weighs 3, needs 8 Strength and carries No Skill as its default. It suits characters who want a light shield that adds bleed to shield attacks.
