The Ebony Bow is the best Bows in the game that you can get at level one at the start of your The Elder Scrolls: V Skyrim playthrough. Normally weapons of this power level do now spawn in the game world until higher levels, but their is one location you can find the Ebony bow early.

How to Get the Ebony Bow Early
Where to find the Ebony Bow Location?
- It is possible to get the Ebony Bow at level 1 in Skyrim by going to the location Lost Valkygg. Bow your way through the dungeon until you reach the Draugr Deathlord who is equpped with the Ebony Bow. Once defeated you can pick up his Ebony Bow for yourself. You can find a full location walkthrough on how to do this in the video guide above.
- Once you reach level 36 Unenchanted Ebony Bow will begin to appear throughout Skyrim and enchanted Bows can be found at level 37. They will appear in random loot chests, enemies or for sale at the various merchants around Skyrim. You can get an Ebony Bow from the Draugr Overlords found in Nordic dungeons once you reach this level.
- The Ebony Bow can be crafted once you reach level 80 smithing skill and have the Ebony Smithing Perk.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
The Ebony Bow is not a leveled weapon.
