How to Get the Elven Bow?
Where to find the Elven Bow Location?
- To find the Elven Bow at level 1 in Skyrim you can go to the following locations:
In the city of Whiterun within the keep of Dragonsreach you can find an Elven Bow early at the Companions Guild in the city of Whiterun. In the basement of Jorrvaskr you will find an Elven Bow locked in an Expert Locked Display cabinet found in Aela the Huntress's room (as shown in the video guide above).
- Once you reach level 19 Unenchanted Elven Bows will begin to appear throughout Skyrim and enchanted Bows can be found at level 20. They will appear in random loot chests, enemies or for sale at the various merchants around Skyrim.
- Another fixed location where you can obtain an Elven Bow is from the Northwatch Keep Archers located the North coast of Skyrim. They also wear a full set of Elven Armor.
Smithing Guide

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
The Elven Bow is not a leveled weapon.
