The Silver Greatsword is a two-handed sword with 17 base damage. It deals 20 extra damage to undead, werewolves and werebears. Members of the Silver Hand carry it, and they turn up often during the Companions questline.

Silver Greatsword Location
Silver Hand members wield it. The Companions questline brings several fights against them.
Gameplay Tips and Tricks
- The silver bonus counts separately from enchantments, so an arcane enchanter can still add one.
- At 12 weight it is the lightest ordinary greatsword.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
Silver Greatsword has the same damage at every character level.
