The Nord Hero Greatsword is a two-handed weapon in The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. It's a more powerful version of the Ancient Nord Greatsword and is visually identical in its shape, but it has a polished appearance without any rusting and a new wooden haft in place of the old rotting one.

Where to find the Nord Hero Greatsword Location?

The Nord Hero Greatsword can only be crafted using the Smithing Skill at the Skyforge. Before the player can craft Nord Hero weapons they must talk to the Skyforge Blacksmith. Eorlund Gray-Mane and complete the Companions Quest Glory of the Dead. After this Eorlund will teach you how to craft Nord Hero Greatsword.

Gameplay Tips

The Nord Hero Greatswords are rarely used in gameplay, considering the only way to obtain them is to firstly learn how to craft them. Often better weapons are available at this point in the game, so their is no reason to craft and use an inferior weapon, beyond putting them on display.
