The Stalhrim Greatsword is a two-handed weapon in Skyrim. It has a unique appearance, with a light blue color blade made of Stalhrim, a rare crystal-like material found only in the northernmost regions of Tamriel. A special quest must be completed before you can get the Stalhrim Greatsword making it quite difficult to craft.

Where to find the Stalhrim Greatsword Location?

Once you reach level 35 Unenchanted Stalhrim Greatsword will begin to appear throughout Skyrim and enchanted Swords can be found at level 36. They will appear within random loot chests, for sale at the various merchants or be wielded by enemies. Baldor Iron-Shaper in the Skaal Village on the island of Solstheim will sell the Stalhrim Greatsword.
Before you can craft Stalhrim Swords you must complete the quest A New Source of Stalhrim: You can start this quest by talking to Deor Woodcutter in the Skaal Village on Solstheim (see video above). A Stalhrim Greatsword requires a Smithing level of 80 and the Ebony Smithing perk to craft.
