Amren's Family Sword is a unique Iron Sword found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It's identical to the Iron Sword and only functions as a quest item.

Where to find Amren's Family Sword Location?
To find this unique weapon you must start the quest Amren's Family Sword in Whiterun. Armen is a Redguard male who can be found argueing with his wife Saffir when the Dragonborn first enters the city.
Amren will send the player to find the unique sword. The location of the weapon is radiant, which means it can appear at several possible locations. Most of these postsible random locations are within the Whiterun Hold making the quest easy to complete. Once you find Amren's sword you must give it back to him to complete the quest. It is possible to pickpocket the sword back from Amren or steal it from Amren's house in Whiterun, it's displayed on the cupboard shelf.
