The Dawnguard War Axe is a can be found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It's the proffered weapon of the Dawnguard Faction in their crusade against Vampires. The Axe is not as powerful as the Unique Dawnguard Rune Axe which can deal over 200 damage a hit.
Weapon Enchantment
Dawnguard weapons deal an additional 5 damage to vampires. They can also be enchanted with an additional enchantment but it will not show in the weapons description. It's possible to add three enchantments to the weapon using the Extra Effect Perk.

Where to find the Dawnguard War Axe Location?
If the Dragonborn sides with the Dawnguard faction the Dawnguard War Axe can be found in Fort Dawnguard, placed throughout the castle.
- If the Dragonborn Sides with the Vampires of Castle Volkihar the axe can be looted from members of the Dawnguard once defeated.
- The Unique Dawnguard Rune Axe can be found during the side qeust Lost

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
The Dawnguard War Axe is not a leveled weapon.
