The Iron War Axe is a one-handed weapon in The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Unfortunately the Iron War Axe is the worst one handed War Axe in Skyrim, but very common and easy to find. Since enchanted Iron Axes have a high chance to appear in loot, it can be beneficial to disenchant them to learn all the enchantments in Skyrim.

Where to find the Iron War Axe Location?
You can find enchanted and unenchanted Iron Axes in Skyrim at level 1, the enchanted Swords can be disenchanted to learn the enchantment. You can find Iron Swords in the following locations:
- Purchased at Blacksmiths and general goods merchants.
- Wielded by enemies and NPC's.
- Looted in random chests.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
