The Steel Battleaxe is a regular two-handed weapon in The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Interestingly it it is the only battle-axe in the game with a symmetrical two-headed design.

Where to find the Steel Battleaxe Location?
- Unenchanted Steel Battleaxe will start to appear throughout Skyrim at level 2, and enchanted Battleaxes can be found at level 3. You will find them in randomised loot chests, sold by merchants and wielded by enemy Bandits, mages and forsworn.
- The Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls is a much more powerful unique two handed weapon that can be obtained early in Skyrim.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
The Steel Battleaxe is not a leveled weapon.
