Durability
Durability measures how worn a weapon or a piece of armor is. It shows as a percentage on the item. Fighting wears gear down, and repairs bring it back.
Wear
Weapons lose durability as they are used in combat. Armor wears down as well. A weapon at low durability deals less damage.
Repairs
Repair kits restore part of an item's durability. Blacksmiths repair weapons and armorers repair armor, for crowns. The repair screen has a button that fixes every equipped item at once.
Gear That Helps
The Glyph of Reinforcement gives armor +50% reduction in item durability loss. The game options also include Unlimited Item Durability, which stops gear from wearing down at all.
