Lamond is a human regular of the hot spring at Geyser Hamlet, above the Volcanic Island Camp on Agamen Volcanic Island. He looks like nothing more than a tippler, but he is the Warfarer Maister, and the Arisen earns his teaching by keeping him supplied with Newt Liqueur.
Story
Lamond calls out to the Arisen at the hot spring and asks for Newt Liqueur. Once he has had his fill, he reveals there is more to him than drink and teaches the Arisen the ways of the Warfarer. In the Unmoored World, Lamond refuses at first to leave the island, and Ernesto asks the Arisen to persuade him to join the evacuation.

Lamond is found at Geyser Hamlet, the hot spring reached from the top of the Volcanic Island Camp.
Quests
Lamond gives The Sotted Sage, which unlocks the Warfarer vocation. In The Importance of Aiding Ernesto, given by Ernesto, the Arisen must convince Lamond to evacuate. Having finished The Sotted Sage makes this easier.
The Sotted Sage Quest Guide
- Go to Geyser Hamlet at the top of the Volcanic Island Camp. Lamond starts talking to the Arisen and asks for Newt Liqueur.
- Buy Newt Liqueur at Higgs's tavern in Bakbattahl. Move one of the sacks outside into the fenced area to be let in, and wear a Beastren Mask unless the Arisen is a beastren.
- Bring the Newt Liqueur back to Lamond. He also hands over a Rotten Soft-Boiled Egg.
- Keep giving him Newt Liqueur until he unlocks the Warfarer vocation.
- Speak to Lamond once more to receive Grandmaster's Path, which teaches the Warfarer skill Rearmament.
Gifts
