Myrddin is a human sorcerer of great renown who lives in a manor, Myrddin's Home, in Checkpoint Rest Town. He is the Sorcerer Maister, and the Arisen earns his teaching by gathering rare grimoires for him in The Sorcerer's Appraisal.
Story
Myrddin is particular about who may enter his home. He receives only visitors dressed as nobles, in the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches, and he turns on anyone he catches stealing from his house. Once satisfied that the Arisen is worthy, he asks for a set of rare grimoires, and in return shares the secret of his art in Myrddin's Chronicle. Myrddin is the father of Trysha, who lives with her grandmother Eini and dreams of studying magick herself. She seeks the very same grimoires, so the Arisen must choose who receives the originals.
