Klaus is the guildhead of the Vernworth Vocation Guild in Vernworth. The Arisen meets him at the guild when trying to register for a new vocation, only to find some vocations closed for want of weapons.
Story
A spate of goblin raids has left the guild short of arms, so the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations are closed to new registrations. Klaus explains the shortage and sends the Arisen to find the missing weapons, starting Vocation Frustration.

Quests
Klaus gives Vocation Frustration. Bringing a greatsword and an archistaff back to him opens the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations.
Vocation Frustration Quest Guide
- Speak to Klaus at the Vernworth Vocation Guild to start the quest.
- Speak to Roderick at his smithy, who points to a goblin lair along the western road.
- Travel west of Vernworth to Trevo Mine.
- Fight through the goblins in the mine and take the greatsword and the archistaff from their chests.
- Return to Klaus and hand over both weapons to finish the quest and unlock the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations.
