Tattoo: Together Forever is the ink that marks the bond between Johnny Silverhand and V. Johnny gets it on V's body during his one night in control. It sits in the Hands slot and costs no Cyberware Capacity at all. It is a keepsake of the story more than a combat implant. It suits a player who sees V and Johnny as partners. Tattoo: Together Forever comes from the side job A Cool Metal Fire, which happens during the main job Chippin' In in the middle of the story.

Progress the main job Chippin' In until V lets Johnny take control of V's body.
During the side job A Cool Metal Fire, Johnny visits Cassius Ryder's clinic in Northside, Watson.
When Cassius asks about the tattoo, choose "the other" one.

Finish the main job Tapeworm to open the side job Chippin' In.
Go to the Afterlife in Watson and let Johnny take control of V's body.
Johnny's turn in control starts the side job A Cool Metal Fire.
As Johnny, keep drinking at the Afterlife bar.
Wake up in Cassius Ryder's tattoo parlor and talk to Cassius.
When Cassius asks which tattoo to give, choose "the other" one.

Tattoo: Together Forever takes the Hands slot. A build that needs that slot for Smart Link or the Shock Absorber has to choose between them. The Ambidextrous perk in Technical Ability unlocks a second Hands slot, which makes room for both.

Quickhacks such as Memory Wipe, Reboot Optics and Sonic Shock keep enemies unaware while the character moves through an area. Takedowns trigger the Tyrosine Injector for extra headshot damage. A sniper rifle and a silenced pistol handle the shots that hacking cannot.

Lore

The in-game line is three words and a sign: J+V 4EVAH.

The tattoo comes from Johnny's night out in V's body. During Chippin' In, V lets Johnny take over for a night. Johnny uses the time to chase a lead on Adam Smasher. One of his stops is the clinic of Cassius Ryder, a ripperdoc and tattoo artist in Northside. Cassius asks which tattoo Johnny wants before he shares what he knows about Smasher's people. Asking for "the other" one gives this tattoo.
