Knight's Greatsword is a Greatsword in Elden Ring. It becomes available in the middle of a run.

The Knight's Greatsword was bestowed upon skilled swordsmen in the demigods' service who held no rank or title, with a long grip for two-handed use and a design meant to dispatch larger foes. Knight-type enemies drop it, including Godrick Knights in Limgrave, Cuckoo Knights in Liurnia of the Lakes, Leyndell Knights, Redmane Knights and Mausoleum Knights, with an easy farm outside the Black Knife Catacombs. It is the second longest greatsword and shares an alternate moveset with distinct two-handed light attacks with the Banished Knight's Greatsword and Inseparable Sword. It scales evenly with Strength and Dexterity and comes with Stamp (Upward Cut), which braces against recoil before a strong upward follow-up. It suits a Strength or quality melee character.

Skill

Stamp costs 5 / 8 FP. The wielder braces the weapon and stamps into a low stance that keeps most enemy attacks from staggering the wielder, letting the wielder absorb a hit. Following with a strong attack unleashes a heavy upward strike for extra FP, while a normal attack instead flows into the second swing of the light combo at no FP cost. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

"Brace armament and step into a low stance that prevents recoil from most enemy attacks. Follow up with a strong attack for an upward strike."

Suggested Build

A long-reaching two-handed greatsword for a Strength or quality build, using its reach and Stamp's hyper armor to trade through enemy attacks.

Stats Strength to 60, then 80, Vigor 50 to 60, Endurance about 40, Mind about 10, Dexterity 12 at its requirement
Affinity Heavy for a Strength build.
Ash of War Stamp (Upward Cut), its default, to brace through attacks before the upward slash; Lion's Claw for heavier posture damage.
