Leontiel's Greatsword is the favored weapon of the knight Leontiel, a greatsword whose blade is wrapped in leather at the base, said to have been wielded long ago by a proud order of orthodox knights, and weapons of its kind demand high dexterity. It drops from Knight Leontiel, who invades in the Wailing Dunes of Caelid near the War-Dead Catacombs once Starscourge Radahn has been defeated. It uses the alternate greatsword moveset with distinct two-handed light attacks and thrusting heavy attacks like the Claymore's. Its unique skill, Muleta, holds out a red cloth to bait attacks: a light attack dodges left into a horizontal slash, a heavy attack dodges right into a chargeable thrust, and another heavy input dodges again into an upward thrust that launches smaller enemies. It suits a Dexterity character who likes counterattacking.

3. Head north through the dunes toward the War-Dead Catacombs.
4. Defeat Knight Leontiel when she invades to receive the greatsword.

Muleta costs 10 / 13 FP. The wielder holds out a red cloth in a matador's stance. A normal attack sidesteps with invincibility frames into a sweeping slash, while a strong attack pirouettes away with invincibility frames into a thrust that can be charged and followed with another thrust. The dodging follow-ups let the wielder slip through an attack and punish it, and Rellana's Cameo boosts them when the stance is held first. No other weapon carries this skill, and it cannot be replaced.

"Hold out a red cloth in front, inviting enemies to attack. Use normal or strong attack to gracefully dodge incoming strikes then pivot to offense. Can be charged to increase power of strong attack. Also, additional input allows for a follow-up attack."
