The Inseparable Sword is a Greatsword in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Late game. It is found around Deeproot Depths, far enough in that it is an end-of-run weapon rather than something to build towards.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at D and Fai at C, so Fai is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 18, Dex 18 and Fai 20 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

Notes

Sword forged by compounding silver and gold. A sacred weapon to hunt Those Who Live in Death. Deals holy damage. The inseparable twins found solace in the Golden Order, the only institution not to revile them as accursed beings.

How to Get Inseparable Sword Guide

Obtained after the death of D, Beholder of Death, meaning there are two ways to obtain this weapon.
The first way is the regular one, which is slower and require that the questlines of both D's and also Fia, Deathbed Companion, is completed, whereafter it is found where Fia sat in Deeproot Depths.
The second is to kill D, Hunter of the Dead (only possible during the first encounter with him, in Limgrave, and impossible thereafter) to obtain the Twinned Set from him and then give this armor to D, Beholder of Death. This results in the second D becoming hostile at the spot where he was sitting after reloading the area, and killing him then awards the weapon (and the Twinned Set once more).
