Ancient Falmer Gauntlets are light armor gauntlets from Dawnguard with a base armor rating of 11 and a weight of 2. They belong to the Ancient Falmer set worn by Arch-Curate Vyrthur, and they come from him during Touching the Sky.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on an Ancient Falmer Gauntlets at an arcane enchanter.

Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.

Ancient Falmer Gauntlets Location

Arch-Curate Vyrthur wears the set, and it comes from his body during Touching the Sky.

Gameplay Tips

Temper them at a workbench with one Refined Moonstone. The Elven Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
Their armor rating and weight match Glass Gauntlets.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

An Ancient Falmer Gauntlets is improved at a workbench with one Refined Moonstone per improvement. The Elven Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
