Vampire Gauntlets are light armor gauntlets from Dawnguard with a base armor rating of 8 and a weight of 1.5. They belong to the Vampire Armor outfit. Pairs turn up in Castle Volkihar and the Volkihar Undercroft.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Vampire Gauntlets at an arcane enchanter.

Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.

Vampire Gauntlets Location

One pair sits on a shelf in the first room of the Volkihar Undercroft. Hestla sells them in Castle Volkihar once the Volkihar vampires are joined.

Gameplay Tips

Temper them at a workbench with one Leather. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
They give 8 armor, one more than Leather Bracers, and weigh less.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

A Vampire Gauntlets is improved at a workbench with one Leather per improvement. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Quality	Smithing	With Perk	Armor

Superior	31	22	+3
Exquisite	65	40	+5
Flawless	100	57	+7
