Wolf Gauntlets are heavy armor gauntlets and part of the Wolf Armor set of the Companions. They have a base armor rating of 12 and weigh 4. They become available once the Companions accept a new member.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Wolf Gauntlets at an arcane enchanter.

Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.

Wolf Gauntlets Location

Eorlund Gray-Mane at the Skyforge in Whiterun sells them once the Companions take the character in.

Gameplay Tips

Temper them at a workbench with one Steel Ingot. The Steel Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
Their 12 armor matches Steel Nordic Gauntlets at the same weight.
Four Wolf pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

A Wolf Gauntlets is improved at a workbench with one Steel Ingot per improvement. The Steel Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Quality	Smithing	With Perk	Armor
Fine	14	14	+1
Superior	31	22	+3
Exquisite	65	40	+5
Flawless	100	57	+7
