Ancient Nord Gauntlets
Ancient Nord Gauntlets are heavy armor gauntlets and part of the Ancient Nord Armor set. They have a base armor rating of 10 and weigh 4. The Skyforge in Whiterun makes them after the Companions questline.

Ancient Nord Gauntlets Location
The dragon cultists in Forelhost wear full sets during the quest Siege on the Dragon Cult. Only the Skyforge in Whiterun can make them, and only after the Companions questline ends with Glory of the Dead.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper them at a workbench with one Iron Ingot. The Daedric Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- Forge them at the Skyforge from 3 Steel Ingots, 2 Iron Ingots, 2 Leather and 3 Leather Strips.
- The base stats match Iron Gauntlets.

Upgrades
An Ancient Nord Gauntlets is improved at a workbench with one Iron Ingot per improvement. The Daedric Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
